Larry H. Miller Dealerships Collects Pajamas for Homeless Staying at Boise Rescue Mission Shelters This Holiday Season
Last year’s drive donated more than 200 pairs of pajamas for homeless families
BOISE (October 12, 2022) – Larry H. Miller Dealerships announces its third annual Pajama Drive from Oct. 15 – Nov. 15, 2022, to help homeless families staying warm at the Boise Rescue Mission’s shelters this holiday season. New pajamas and pajama sets in all sizes for men, women and children are needed year-round, but on Christmas, guests staying at the organization’s shelters receive a special Christmas care package with a new pair of pajamas included.
“Having a warm set of pajamas to put on each night is a comfort that many of us take for granted,” said Tom Greene, Larry H. Miller (LHM) Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram Boise. “Helping others with such a basic need is at the core of who we are as a company.”
Now through November 15, members of the public may drop off donations at the following locations:

“As temperatures drop, our shelters fill up. We’re anticipating more than 300 homeless men, women and children per night in the cold winter months,” said Rev. Bill Roscoe, president/CEO, Boise Rescue Mission. “On Christmas, we want to let these families know that we care about them and are truly glad that they’re staying with us. Each of them will receive a special Christmas package, and with your support, it will include a new pair of warm pajamas. We appreciate Larry H. Miller Dealerships continued partnership over the years, and their employees and customers for supporting our families with this drive.”
Boise Rescue Mission provides programs and services aimed at helping to restore dignity, a sense of purpose and hope to the thousands of homeless men, women and children in Ada, Canyon and surrounding counties. Service focus areas include: emergency (food and shelter), addiction recovery through a 12 or 24-month program, veterans ministry program and services concentrated on assisting women and children.
