Offering yet more evidence of its relentless dedication to improving the driving experience, Lexus issued a press release this morning announcing a new innovation that promises to enhance the connection driving enthusiasts have with their vehicles. Announced as a proprietary technological innovation, Variable Load Coupling Rear Orientation (V-LCRO) keeps the drivers body from moving too much in the seat, allowing for greater control during aggressive turns.

“While all performance cars use seat bolsters to hold a driver in place during aggressive maneuvering, we’re taking it a step further. In this case, the technology we’re employing is actually over 75 years old,” said Brian Bolain, general manager, Lexus product & consumer marketing. “The RC F and GS F are exhilarating, racing-inspired vehicles. By partnering with Velcro Companies, our new V-LCRO technology enhances the driver’s ability to maximize the cars’ track-proven performance.”

The specially designed seat requires a specific suit that creates grip at any angle. With this in mind, Lexus has designed a line of custom-tailored suits that are both functional and fashionable, connecting perfectly with the breakthrough V-LCRO driver’s seats.

Don't rush to the dealerships just yet though. First, be sure to check your calendar.
