Subaru Boise Supports Big Brothers Big Sisters During 2016 Share the Love Event

Larry H. Miller Subaru Boise today announced its participation in the 2016 Share the Love program and selected Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest Idaho as their “hometown charity” to be added to the list of organizations that customers can select to receive a 2016 Subaru Share the Love donation.

“Big Brothers Big Sisters’ mission is to match children facing adversity with mentors to help change their lives,” said Ty Leuthold, general manager, Larry H. Miller Subaru Boise. “It’s so important that we support the children in our community and provide them with the tools they need to be successful.”

Customers who purchase or lease a new Subaru from Nov. 17, 2016 to Jan. 3, 2017 have the opportunity to select one of five charities to receive a $250 donation from Subaru of America (SOA).

The ninth-annual Share the Love program will include the following four national charities, in addition to local charity, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest Idaho:

  • Make-A-Wish
  • Meals on Wheels America
  • National Park Foundation

In 2015, LHM Subaru Boise donated more than $30,000 to Ride for Joy, a therapeutic riding program, and the Idaho Humane Society. Boise Rescue Mission benefited from a $23,114 donation during the Share the Love campaign in 2014.
