Larry H. Miller Dealerships Shares Holiday Cheer During its “3 Days of Giving” With $37,500 in Donations to Spokane Nonprofits


SPOKANE, Wash. (December 13, 2021) – Larry H. Miller Dealerships announced it is sharing joy this holiday season by presenting $37,500 in donations to five Spokane nonprofit organizations serving children and families and funding programs that provide one-on-one mentoring to children, support families of children with pediatric cancer, empower students at risk for dropping out of school, and more.


The donations, which are granted by Larry H. Miller Charities, the charitable arm of the dealership group, will provide funding for the following programs:


Tuesday, December 14

Checks will be presented at Larry H. Miller Lexus Spokane, 1030 W. 3rd Ave., Spokane, WA 99201


  • 11 a.m. - $10,000 donation to NAOMI Homes for Women and Children: This organization is committed to the recovery and rehabilitation of women suffering from substance abuse and other life-controlling issues. This donation will help with furnishing homes with new bedding, replacing furniture, supplying cleaning necessities, attending to maintenance issues and property repairs, and ensuring the security of homes.


  • 2 p.m. - $10,000 donation to Communities in Schools of Spokane County: Part of the nation’s largest dropout prevention organization, this group’s mission is to surround students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life. The $10,000 donation will allow the organization to support students across its five schools with basic needs (food, clothing, hygiene, school supplies) and access to quality afterschool and summer programming.


Wednesday, December 15

  • 11 a.m. - $7,500 donation to Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Inland Northwest: Big Brothers Big Sisters aims to create and support one-on-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth. This donation will allow for the purchase of recreational supplies and equipment, tickets for art and cultural experiences, and more, to make positive shared experiences more accessible to the children served through the mentoring programs.


  • 2 p.m. - $5,000 donation to Anna Schindler Foundation: The organization’s mission is to support families fighting cancer in the Inland Northwest, to raise awareness of pediatric cancer, and to ensure that all diagnosed families in our region have safe, affordable and comfortable housing during their child’s treatment. This donation will be utilized to provide financial assistance for pediatric oncology families receiving treatment at Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital to help them offset the insurmountable amount of bills and debt they incur.

Check will be presented at Larry H. Miller Downtown Honda Spokane, 1208 W. 3rd Ave., Spokane, WA 99201


  • 11 a.m. - $5,000 donation to Spokane Youth for Christ (YFC): YFC’s vision is to reach every young person living in Spokane’s most impoverished neighborhoods with the love and hope of Jesus and empower them to change their own communities. This donation will support the Our City Life Certification project, which aims to develop kids, ages 11-19, through mentoring relationships, spiritual and moral literacy, providing essential health and safety items, encouraging educational success, and economic and civic literacy.
