Festivities include ribbon-cutting and $7,500 donation to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central New Mexico

Larry H. Miller Dealerships announced today the grand opening celebration for the newly reconstructed, nearly 90,000-square-foot Larry H. Miller American Toyota Albuquerque on Wednesday, March 21. Guests will enjoy entertainment, including a color guard and national anthem performance by Cibola High School; facility tours; hors d’oeuvres and refreshments; and a special check presentation to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central New Mexico.

The dealership recently underwent a two-year $12 million reconstruction rendering the facility one of the largest Toyota dealerships in the country. The building features Toyota’s iconic design, including a welcoming illuminated glass entry portal with silver aluminum accents and energy-efficient LED lighting throughout. The interior of the dealership showcases familiar Albuquerque sights, such as images of the balloon fiesta and the Sandia Mountains.

“We’re proud to continue our 30-year commitment to the City of Albuquerque. In addition to our investment in the facility, we’ve been able to increase our vehicle inventory, offering car buyers more variety to meet their needs,” said Dean Fitzpatrick, president, Larry H. Miller Dealerships.

“Most importantly, we’ve invested in the people of Albuquerque. With a larger facility, we’re able to provide additional jobs to local citizens.”

Features inside the showroom include a comfortable customer lounge with free Wi-Fi and power outlets on each seat so that customers may charge their electronic devices while waiting. A refreshment counter offers complimentary soda, bottled water, fruit, pastries, coffee and tea. Parents and children alike will enjoy the kids’ activity area, which features an iPad station where children may play games while their parents wait for their vehicle.

“I love the transparency this new design creates between our employees and our customers. The glass offices allow the ability to see what is happening throughout the building. This enables our associates to more effectively communicate with each other, while at the same time, letting customers see every conversation and interaction that is happening throughout their purchase,” said JR Malouff, general manager, Larry H. Miller American Toyota.
