The Corona Fire Safety Foundation and Friends of Corona Public Library each recently received $5,000 donations from Larry H. Miller Toyota Corona and Toyota Motor Sales, USA.

The Corona Fire Safety Foundation promotes public safety and preparedness through awareness, education and service. The Larry H. Miller Charities contribution will help provide replacement training equipment, manikins and AED educational materials, as well as help expand their reach in the community through CPR classes given free to the local schools and community.

The Friends of the Corona Public Library is dedicated to supporting the library in providing the best programs, services, materials and experiences for library visitors. The Larry H. Miller Charities contribution supports the working partnership with the Corona Regional Hospital in promoting their “Books for Babies” program, providing book bags to each newborn baby born at the local hospital. Included in each bag will be their first book, first library card, information on children’s programs at the library and the importance of reading to children, both in English and Spanish languages. Corona Regional Hospital estimates that an average of 900 babies are born each year here in Corona.

Larry H. Miller Charities, the charitable arm of the dealership group, is funded in large part by employee contributions.
